One of the main features of my custom-built PC case, The Beast, was it's enourmous size. At roughly 24"x24"x12", the Beast was, well, a beast of a case, and with the various components spread all over, I wound up with a lot of wiring that had to cross distances that simply don't exist in most computer cases. Most of my power leads were able to reach without extensions, but I found that, after I installed a rheobus, the leads from the two exhaust fans in the back of the case simply wouldn't reach; they needed extensions.
So I bought extensions. But the problem was that the store-bought extensions simply weren't long enough! A longer extension cable was needed. So I made one.
