As Jeff Bridges said in Starman, "I make maps." And as a mapmaker, I apreciate a good map when I see one, especially when it happens to be a map of my favorite vacation spot, Walt Disney World. So, here's my collection of maps from the World, Universal Orlando, the other Orlando theme parks, and the Disneyland resort in California.

Printing:Each map is available in an Adobe PDF file, scanned at high resolution. Click the text that says "Adobe PDF file" to open a PDF file of the scanned map in a new browser window. The PDF can be printed to any ordinary home printer. Click the text links for any map to open the Google Maps aerial image or Bing aerial image in a new browser window. To save the PDF files to your computer: 1) Right-click on the link to the PDF. 2) Select "Save target as..." The save dialog box will open, asking you where you want to save the file.

6-Guest Family suites at the Value resorts In spring 2006, Disney remodeled a number of rooms in the Calypso and Jazz buildings at All-Star Music, turning them into 192 Family Suites, each sleeping up to 6 people. These 520 square foot Suites are exactly double the size of a standard Value resort room, and include two full bathrooms; a master bedroom with a queen bed; a main room with a double-size sleeper sofa and two twin-size sleeper chair/ottoman beds; and a small kitchenette. There are 27" TVs in both the main room and the bedroom. Rack rates are generally the same as booking two regular rooms, but fewer discounts are available for the Suites than for standard rooms, so booking two standards can often be more cost-effective than the suite. The Suites have been very successful since their initial opening, so much so that when Disney retooled the incomplete second half of Pop Century as Disney's Art of Animation Resort, the design included 1,120 suites and only 864 single rooms, giving Art of Animation the most 6-person accommodations in all of Walt Disney World.
